We are thrilled to announce that our 2025-2026 HRL Teacher of the Year is the amazing Claudette Hickman!
Mrs. Hickman is an exceptional educator whose passion and dedication inspire every student she teaches. Her vibrant reading voice brings stories to life, making learning engaging and fun for all. Beyond her teaching talents, she genuinely cares for her students and creates a warm, supportive classroom environment where everyone feels valued.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Student of the Year Candidates for the 2025–2026 school year! These outstanding students consistently strive for excellence, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and earning Mastery or Advanced on state assessments. Each candidate completed a detailed application and an autobiographical essay, and concluded the process with an interview before a panel of judges. Their dedication, hard work, and leadership set a shining example for all!
