Principal's Message

Welcome to Hayden R. Lawrence Upper Elementary School!

As principal of Hayden R. Lawrence Upper Elementary, I am excited to lead and serve in the same community and school system where I grew up. With 20 years of experience—as a classroom teacher, guidance counselor, and assistant principal—I have developed a student-centered leadership philosophy rooted in empathy, collaboration, and high expectations. I believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive academically and personally. By working together with families, staff, and community members, we can ensure our students are prepared, confident, and excited about their futures. It is a privilege to give back to the community that helped shape me.
